Lots of talk lately about B210s/120Ys ... maybe we should call the site "Datsun 1200 and other RWD Sunnys". But it doesn't sound so catchy.

hey dd i'm a b210/120y owner and i resent that a little i realise this is a 1200 club but if you have seen the b210 club you would know why i'm here. sorry if b210 talk gives you the @!^&#'s but they run the same motor it's an a series and we can all learn from each other so how about you just live with the fact that we are here and if you want to start being like a 510 owner (no offence ) amd be all "were the best" then do it but hey why would you want to were all here for the same reason. to greater our knowledge of datsuns and to make a nice street machine.

Well, personally I see think the club is for people who own/like 1200's.

Now if these people wanna talk about B210's, 510's, or friggin 202 kingswoods, then thats fine.

I don't think the club would survive if all we talked about was 1200's...do you?

look all i'm saying is we share an engine so we can talk about it, timo you had a rotary powered car i've seen 3800 holdern sixes in dats it's what we do. a dat is a dat if he wants to be all one race of dat then be it but unless you take away our membership we are going to keep talking.

lighten up a little bit. we all need to remember that we are all here as guests of the Branco brothers.
without them and thier hard work, this wouldn't be the site that it is.
yes the B210/120Y share a lot of things with the 1200, but there are other things that they do not share as well.
true, we can all learn from each other, but it won't happen when someone flames another for expressing an opinion.

I think it's a good thing that we have guys with everything from thousands (B10) to B310s (and a few other models as well). Makes things a bit more interesting, and I've discovered things about them that I'd never know otherwise - and I've owned a thousand/B10 and a 120Y/B210, as well as numerous 1200s (every model except a wagon). I think they're all cool, and will probably own other B10s or whatever in the future - so personally I think it's great we can talk about them here.

Let's face it, they're all brother Sunnys - surely discussions about the predecessors and the later model versions is OK?

Besides, most of us have very few original 1200 bits left on our cars when we're finished anyway...

hey rgrinder i know how much work the branco brothers do that is why i'm at your site cos it's great sorry to be so heavy but i wanted to get my point across
