after lower ratio diff center,h165,bluebird center 3.9 would like lower,3.7???

3.7 to 1 is a HIGHER ratio than 3.9 to 1. This is also sometimes described as a TALLER ratio. The numeric value is lower, but the RATIO is higher.

A lower ratio than 3.9 would be 4.11 to 1 as found in the Utes & this will give greater acceleration, hill climbing power & load carying ability but lower top speed at a given engine speed.
