If you're talking about a U.S. Pulsar, a ca18de or t. (Not everybody bothers to note their location when joining this forum.) No matter, you need to be at NissanForums.com

Yeah..is '87 the N13 one? Then there's 2 possibilities in Australia. The 1800 crap from the Holden Camira (I think), which also came out in a Turbo version for the ET Pulsars, or the N13 EXA (USA=NX) which had a CA18DE/CA16DE. Both can take the FWD CA18DET from the Turbo N13, or the U12 Bluebird. (108kW)

Chris

ps. I agree. Sort out your location.

yeah the n13 pulsar has basically a camira engine except with multi point injection...

i have a SSS that gets me to work and back, and even with extractors and a high flow muffler its still a slug....

its a shame though becuase the rest of the car is great... i was gonna ca18det it but didnt like the whole fwd part of it.....

so what better for it than a datsun 1200 ute..

The CA18DET is a turbo version of the
CA18de that came in the us Pulsar nx-se
1987-89 I think..

It seems to be the engine of choice to
put in a 1200-- My project starts in 3 weeks
as soon as the 4-post rack gets here
ordered it today from
autolifters.com
