beautiful attention to detail.

Can I ask which auto you are using? and....
whats the coppery metallic coating you are using?
and is are you using you own style of front end removing the leaf spring or just re-inforcing the front end?

I was thinking the same thing about the coating.

I actually quite like it as a colour.

Copper-vanilla???

I'm a little worried about the welds there tommo. There wasn't too much heat was there?

Nice work though man, it'll be a little powerhouse.

EDIT: Wow, I just saw the colour you were talking about D. wierd?

nah nah there wasn't that much heat and the paint is just a pressure pack cooper primer that u get from auto barn or something like that also the front has a carbon fiber leaf with those small coilovers also noting has really happened to this in the past couple of months as i got an rc car lol and fixing my 1600 so i can drive it as im without a car lol and also the auto is just the stock mx5 on but i will be thinking of putting a c4 maybe later on after engine rebuild

One thing I noticed over time is the lack of beauty compared to the old days of twin cam motors. However this is one area where mazda has made an effort and the B series on the mx5 is quite beautiful and its the way twin cam engines should be.

Lets us know the composite leaf spring you have in mind and Ill be interested and so would many others.
