Hello, does anyone know where tires with steel rims in them can be disposed of cheap or for free is Australia, Vic?

tyre shops pay around $2 a tyre to dump
and the rim take to sims might give you 10cents

Hehe, yeah I don't really want to... you know. The tyre shopes here want $5 a wheel, and I have about 30 of them. I was thinking maybe I should donate them to pick a parts front gate while they are closed. But I'd rather do it properly.

some people have thrown over the back fence of tyre shops to add too there pile ;)

but tyres dont brake down for some crazy amount of time , thats why the dumps dont want em

skip bins at your local building site thats what i do, after i've "you know"

if u cut the side walls out of the tyre at the corner of the tread so that its in 3 pieces then u can put it in a bin as its not classed as a tyre. thats how our workshop gets rid of them and another local shop.

Oi D, i said I had 30 of them, not 3000! I might cut them up then, probaly the easiest way. Thanks
