I'd say Politie is just dutch for "Police".

Yes, first Police 1200 photo as far as I recall.

It would put the fear into criminals driving DAF or 2CV.

I didnt know that DAF made cars. and considering most of them were twin cyclinder air cooled units, a 1200 would certainly keep the crims in check. LOOK OUT!

The old Skoda's would keep the 1200 honest,but then it would break down 5 minutes into the chase

mmm i wouldnt be that cop standing there to sheild my self from a bullet... not like there is much metal in a 1200 to deflect the shot.
