Towndriving service it every 8000km.
Lots of freeway driving, every 10 000km.

The oils you mentioned are all good oils.
Just use a good quality mineral oil and don't mix different oil brands. Stick to the one oil that you decide to use. Mixing different oil brands creates sludge in a engine.

Is your engine used or going to be a new reconditioned unit?

Yes, agreed. Any quality brand may be used.

Synthetic oils costs 3x or more, but can last 3x or more longer. They are not any better for a street car except for that fact.

I use many different regular oil brands, and mix them. I've had no sludge problems over the last 25 years. To avoid debate on this topic, drain the old oil out, and replace with 3 liters of new oil (all three liters the same brand). I have no problems with that recommendation.

They say you should not mix regular oil with synthetic oil.

If it is a non reconditioned engine, I would just use a good quality mineral oil and stick to the one you choose for the rest of the engine's life.

Change it every 8000km if you do a mix of driving town and highway/freeway.

Same here i service mine with with the oil change every 5000 km and filters etc every 10000km and have never had a problem i use castrol GTX2 20w50

you should be fine with any 20w50 oil as long as it is a known brand and its not expensive either.

What i mean by that is i know theres dodgy people out there ( no offence) that will get the no branded oil just to save money.
