You can test it your self. It is usually one of three things:

1. Bad 'sender' (sensor) which is in the fuel tank

2. Bad gauge in the dash

3. Bad wiring

Does the Temperature gauge work OK?

Hi ddgonzal

Temperature sensor is working fine but not fuel sensor, what adjustment neeeded to be checked from the dash board side ?

Thanks

Start with check in the boot, at the fuel tank. This should be very easy with a Sedan.

1. Pull the Fuel sensor wire off at fuel tank
2. Ground/earth the wire
3. Turn IGN switch on and observe gauge:

* Gauge goes to Full. Bad sender. Replace it.

* Gauge still dead. It is not caused by fuel sender. Check for loose wiring, at back of dash, or at dash wiring harness connectors. If you don't spot the problem, remove dash/cluster gauge and test gauge directly.

It is not normally repaired, but instead replaced. I have no experience in trying to fix a bad gauge.

If a wire is broken, you may be able to solder it as a repair.

It is very specific to B210 sedan. Coupe is probably different.

Sunsmith-
What do you mean fuel sensor is gone? Have you removed it and checked the variable resistor?
