So I am going down the R31 diff route in my ute... So the rear brakes are going to be the skyline disc brakes, have some grooved discs and have the calliper kits to go through into the callipers. Now I am just wondering what I should do with the callipers bling and paint wise, I have had them sand blasted already and am probably going to chrome some bits on them like the spring and bracketry. And am thinking about chroming the outer bits (not sure what they are called, but in the pic they are the darker bits) and I might get some of the right sort of paint colour matched to the ute?
Whats everyone think? Any other ideas?
Cheers
Dan

Will be getting braided lines once I have the diff back and ready to go in. Theyre rather expensive to get 2 sets if the first ones are wrong...

ive been using pot belly stove paint for exhaust manifolds
bakes on and takes mega heat
matt black only but
alloy will corrode with no paint
chroming causes embrittlement esp on springs brackets etc be ok
dont do the iron caliper bracket
dazza

Here is what i ended up going with... Should look good once I put them back together. And yeah decided to chrome the lot besides the main caliper body, and Dazza I have heard about chrome making things a little more brittle? But these should be pretty right... Major suspension/ load components id probably not chrome though

The chrome was done at gold coast electroplating... Bits of it would have been nice and difficult to polish...
