I'm worried the mounts might be shagged but they still look good. That would be a definate contributer if not cause. Which also sucks as I hear they aren't being made any more.

Spewin about teh crushed 120y s I thought I had a good lead there. When I called u pull it yesterday they told me they have no 1200s or sunnys but I didn't ask them about 120y I .still might try a few other yards.

hey Aegis i had the exact same thing happen to me i am running a corolla radiator and one day the mount decided to break (goodbye radiator). youll find one big thermo wont fit in between the motor (but you might be able to fit one on the front)i am running 2 8 inch fans which fit great with the pully sitting between . i dont no who told you they dont make the mounts anymore as i bought some bout a month ago , just go down to super cheap or repco and the should be able to get some easy

With my A15 radiator I've stuck the fan on the radiator inlet side and coincidentally I couldn't really move it past there because of the water pump. Works good though.

I have solved my issues and the car is keepin cool. Ended up using a thermo fan mounted in front of the radiator, pushing air. Now there's no need for the factory fan.
