Hi all, I,m so pleased i found this site, congrats to who the brainchild is behind this and its great to see Datsun fans collective. I guess you can say that datsuns are in my blood. My dad brought a datsun sportstar ute in about 1982 and then downtraded it on a 74 b110 sedan in 1984 that i have got now.

Hi welcome..Downtraded!!! Hey man, some of here would consider that a cool upgrade

We have some competitive arguments in relation to whether the Coupe, Ute or Sedan is the best. But we all agree that they are all pretty cool.

So do you have a NZ factory 1200 SSS ? With the twin carbies and the alloys? They are cool!

Chris.

Yeah, we do. Everyone here knows that utes are the best, but the coupe and sedan owners argue anyway....just because they're jealous.

Utes are only good "out in the country", where they can be used to advantage at the B&S parties.. This is one of the Aussie things that us City boys miss out on, and don't understand. For people who don't know what they are, they are basically a huge outdoor party for 16-25 year olds, with plenty of Utes with stickers.. and plenty of girlies wanting to get "personal" in the back of the lucky fella's Ute.

The day after the party, it looks like all of the young people in town have just returned from war..

It's a bit like Spring break..but without the cameras for the DVD productions...

I like all the shapes, and i would like to get a factory sss and start a collection if i had the room. I had one once and i sold it, it was badley rusted and was no good for anything apart from all the sss bits, i still should have keeped it. Sorry all i ment downdraded in dollar tearms, at that time the ute was only 2 years old and the sedan would have been 10 years old. What is ms messerger used for? Anyone know of a factory sss for sale?
