I've not seen "specific" 1000 ones

I got a pair off a forum member ages ago for my 1000 ... they are 1200 ones I believe

In the shed somewhere

I spoke to Geoff(120fly) ages ago and he informed me thhat the 1200 flares that he sells don't fit on the 1000, they need to be modified obviously. You basically need to glue gun or bolt the bottoms of the flares to the guard and then cut wedges out of the flare until it follows the guard and then you have to repair it with fibreglass and then paint.

Another way is get your hands on some escort flares and modify them to suit, they don't need as much modifying. I have seen a set of MINI flares but the radius is too small so they also need to be modified!

What happened to making steel ones?
