hey guys well after crumbling to the pressure of my mates convincing me to put a rack in my 1000 i was just wondering if anyone has every toyed with this idea before and what ideas did you come up with. Also what rack would you of used. Ohh and if some one would be so kind to take a measurement from the steering arm to other steering arm it would be much appreciated as my font end is in bits due to putting my brakes together and other stuff up there ;)

Many thanks Tom

big heavy auto is in the way where the draglink would go plus i need a collapsable column now as the car has to get engineered and the engineer doesn't want the old solid column in it

Good luck
Your on your own with this one
Doublt its ever been done

My 100 racecar had a LJ Torana rack... but... it was a tube chassis
I don't knopw what you will find that will bolt to the existing Xmember

Move the engine back
And why do you have a big silly auto in there anyway ?

if its just for a collapsable column for the 1k, use a 1200 one as they pretty much bolt up, make sure you keep the indicator setup as it is slightly different but connects strait into the original wiring.
