Maybe people are racing to get the last of the Government boosts for first home buyers so people are selling their projects that are worth some cash.

Whos_Girl; hopefully yours doesn't sell (in the nicest possible way) so you get to keep it.

i think as soon as the first home buyers grant goes price will drop 14g over night, just like they went up 14g's when it came out .

Buying an unfinished project can be a good thing dont get me wrong, so long as the project isn't up for sale because they have made a big mess of thing.
Like what someone said earlier: Their eyes are bigger than their bellies.

Even the most well directed project planning will still result in rebuild project costs blowing out by 200%.

My car is proof that a $500 car can cost more than a Mercedes if you are not careful.

Haha! My project blowout was buying the 2 door sedan for $200 and shipping it to PNG (from townsville).... That cost $2600. That was an embarrassing moment when I had to sort the paperwork with customs.

Officer: "Hang on so the car is only worth $200??'.......'are you sure?'.....'are you sure you want to do this?"

"Too late" I said with a sheepish grin.

Well I brought one of the ones listed on ebay last night. - 4.5 hour drive to go get it, Should be able to get away Wednesday hopfully. - SO, let the games begin...

we have dropped the price of my wagon by $700 so that it can seell. i seriously dont want it to go but i am a realist and understand that it needs to go whether i like it or not. have to sacrifice so much to buy a house. not happy.

so as is stated in the listing on here for it we have dropped the reserve and so if someone wants the wagon project $3200 and its yours!!!!! we move in like 2wks n can keep her.
