If it's only there during steady state cruising, and no sound while accelerating or decelerating, it could simply be gear noise. Possibly it won't get any worse, will just be noisy from now on. A former owner may have run it with low gear oil, or fitted a mismatched gear pair.

Unless it is vibrating.

In my case,i heard the sound at normal cruising n accelerating.
But it goes off when decelerating or engine braking..

Nah not realy, beacause as the load increases it gets louder to the point where you can here it through the thick alloy case and trans tunnel.

When your accelerating, the countershaft and main shaft are trying to move away from each other under considerable force, alot more force than decel/cruise. When in 4th gear, the input shaft and main shaft are locked together, the bearing in between should be stationary,(no noise). In all other gears, the bearing is turning, as the input/output speeds are different, (when you have noise).

I need to lower the engine crossmember juz to take out the trans...
Cant do it at my home so i need to send to my frens workshop which cost more...
BTW can i swap the gear set from 60A to my 60L??
