Yeah welded some plate back over the top and welded mounts up now starting to clean it all up. Camera batteries on charge pics up tomorrow if i get a chance.

Well Hankys takin another engine turn Back to L series L16 & Stumpy box for Melbourne Trip. Started Priming bay and modded Battery tray a bit Also making it a bolt in one easy for option of removal.

i like L series sedan and do the crazy sr20de stuff to the wagon, or vice versa. best of both worlds then

good to see it gettin ready for a trip to melb, cant wait to see all these fully sic dattos

and now for the brown? with that big battery tray u could put a battery box on it, saves the acid fumes corroding all the electric connections around it.

Thanks lads. Unfam yeah stayin L16 till wagon is done ( say 12 months) then this comes off the road for tear down and resto with rebuilt CA18DE R31 diff and coilovers etc..., Thats the goal anyway.

have u sprayed the bay yet??

at least most rust stuff will be done so not a mojor rebuild once it comes off the road.

More progress. Bay Painted,New Clutch Kit, L Series and Stumpy Box back in. Now to repaint front apron and hook everything back up then run it in for 2 inch exhaust. Got new carpet coming and some other bits.
