Just wonder who is making the trip over here (Adelaide) for the DatNats this year. Ive cancelled my trip to melb so i can be there. The weather has been really good over here so heres hoping it remains like this and we should be in for a great weekend of Datsun power. Hope to c some of you there...

Not sure its been awhile since ive been to mallala. There are some grassy hills there but im not sure if tents or such are allowed.

worse comes to worse can sleep in the car i guess, hope not though, where is this place in relation to adelaide, i had an offer to stay at an in-laws farthers place half way between adelaide and port augusta, that wouldnt be anywhere in the right direction would it?

The track day and show and shine are no where near each other a 45min drive from each other. Mallala is out north of adelaide in the sticks past the drag track (AIR) if you have ever been there? Theres a carvan park near the mallala but if you coming from melbourne you will be on the opposite side of town.

I'll be going with my brother in his SR20DEt 1600. There's about 12 cars going from Sydney, and most of us are going down in a group. Should be great fun, We are staying in Geelong on Thursday night, and doing the Great Ocean Road on the Friday. I'll have video and photos of the whole event. Accomodation was really cheap in Adelaide, about $40/night for a nice place. But there's camping and stuff too. If you need to ask about accomodation, someone on the Datnats website should be able to help.

I'm very disappointed that my 1200 is not even close to being finished..bloody painters.
If anyone on here is a spraypainter, please don't copy the habits of the guy painting my car. 6 weeks that turns into 12months is not cool.

The event is on the 15,16,17th of November..Next Weekend.
