just a universal kit, not really that good for a 1200 i wouldnt think with that size turbo

not really bad value though considering other typical ebay prices(AUS)
turbo $300-350
cooler $180
universal cooler piping $100??
temp adaptor $20
turbo flange $20-30

Its not a garret T3/T4 turbo thats fur sure... its a copy. I wouldnt trust the intercooler either. Impeller blades are most likely ceramic, cooler properties are prolly crap and have massive pressure drop across the center. Turbo timers are a gimic really as a who would drive their car on full boost for ages unless at a track? Normal driving/spirited driving you wont need one.

At the end of the day you get what you pay for. But i wouldnt spend that little on a turbo setup. Last thing iw ould want is part of an impeller go through the cylinder and maybe bend a valve or crack a piston or something.

Not worth the risk in my opinion

doesn't look to bad! especially for a starter kit!

But there is a few parts missing to get it going and off the ground, obviously the manifolds, external wastegate and other odds and ends

I think they sell generic kits, for all cars, minus the manifolds.

Postage from the US is $323 so for about $800 Aus you could have a a half decent sarter kit.

but if your only spending that much on a turbo setup then you probably wont have a nice rebuilt/forged engine that your putting it on

the ebay turbos just get shaft play in them real quick. lots of people run cheap ebay coolers, they do the job but obviously if you spend a grand on a cooler its going to be better than a $200 one. but then it wouldnt surprise me if you expensive coolers also used cheaper cores and just stamp/paint a brand on them

would only be the exhaust impeller that would be ceramic but then would a ceramic wheel be cheaper than steel one? coz im doubting that it would be. cant say ive heard of a ceramic front wheeled turbo so you wil only shoot an impeller down the exhaust and kill a cat or muffler if it does let go

Ceramic impellers are sure cheaper to make than steel ones. Im not aware of any turbos that use a 2 piece combination as it is just one single shaft through the turbo. All the turbos of the RB series engines where all ceramic bladed turbos. The GTR's were the exception though. they had steel units though dont quote me on it.

HDI which are chinease actually make the better intercoolers on the market even better than those of trust, hks and the like in most cases.

If they arent ball bearing units they are just the normal floating type which are a lot more prone to shaft play and coking of the turbo which may explain why they offer a turbo timer.
