The next thing is, how much do you have to spend.

I totally recommend the vented Verada disks and Commodore calipers. I'm not sure if this works with the Stanza struts. I know it works with the early 180B (large axle) struts. I'm using these in my 1200.

If you want to go down that path, I don't believe it would cost you much more than $600-700. As I haven't bought the parts for a few years, I can't be sure that this cost is accurate.

I also know that people have looked at Stanza upgrades, and there might be a 4 spot upgrade using landcruiser parts etc..I'm not sure.

Search for stanza and brakes on the left pane.

What motor do you have in your car to justify going bigger? Im racing my 1200 and the 255mm vented stanza brakes and calipers are more than enough to out brake most of the other cars on the track. Im using m155 mintex pads and a 180B master cylinder so maybe my system is different to yours.

i have u12 pintara discs and hi-lux four spot calipers, there is some machining of the disc required to fit this though (opening up centre hole and redrilling bolt holes to fit)

Mine aren't...

Lobster I've heard some people call the 1600 stanza's (I think in S/A) but Im refering to the early 90s stanza 'EXA' theyre like a bluebird but the EXA comes in a nochback thing. I think the 10inch disks are the same on any of the normal family rwds from the 90s.
for my 1200 2 door i think I'll use the U12 set up (without the 4pots) so I get better wheel clearence and choice of offset, the EXA disks sit flush with the hub and it was bloody hard to find wheels that didnt rub on the caliper.
