Good luck with the search.Took me a couple of years to find mine and a spare.Whole vans come up on ebay occasionally. Might be worth buying one swap with a ute diff and resell.

Can you still buy new crown wheel and pinion sets from Nissan?

Might be an option if you cant find one second hand.

What year , model or whatever does the diff come in. I noticed the other day the local scrappie has an early datto van with an A12 in it, all complete.

I will look into new from nissan but i don't think its going to be cheap. Its out of a C20, 1982 A12 I think, should have 8 bolts holding it to the housing if its a h165.

I have been looking for a while, best option so far is to buy a cheap van and use that centre or wreckers have one but Im looking at nearly $300. Im happy running the 4.11:1 for now though, moneys tight so have to use it wisely.
