ATM its at $400 - do the bidders realize its a swirl port (H95) - is there some mystical performance gain from these heads; I think not..unless I've missed something.

Had a good laugh when i saw this on the flea the other day,it's truly amazing how the slightest bit of knowledge can bring out the equally "under done" of experts from within the Datto family.
So Sad

Well that's the sad part. It'll get ported, they'll hit the jacket and then it's stuffed. It'll get put aside and forgotten.

I would buy it but I'm so strapped for cash it's not funny.

The guy is more than honest enough. Buyer beware (cavet emptor?)

he cleary states to look at the pics closelt, noting oil and water passages.

He also states that he knows little about the head, but will attempt to answer questions.

He also did the honest thing and not call it a GX head, which is the ususal trick to get suckers in.

Its certainly had to juistify the current bid for the economy head, but maybe the buyer is very knowledgable and knows something that we dont. Perhaps economy is the aim.

Still, I cant help but think the same... sucker....

It's a NOS head and at $500, even $600 I reckon it's worth every cent.

Someone tell me who has a H95 in Aus? It's no match to a H89 and H75 but it certainly is rare.

I was one of the 'suckers' bidding on it (that's how I got the image), but I'm simply short on cash. If I wasn't short on dosh this thing would be sitting on my table next week.

It's not expensive for what it is but it sure is expensive for the timeline of the auction.

couldnt agree with you more matto1kute.

Its an open market, and its worth what ever someone wants to pay for it. If you are happy to a $1000 for it then so be it.

If its a trophy you want then thats fine. hec Im sure that I have paid more than others would for certain things, and i spose that makes me a "sucker" too.

Expense really is a qualtative measure, in that its an individual defination, based on persceptions on monetry value and personal value of the item amongst other things, rather than a direct numbers meansurement. People with millions probally wouldnt think its expensive im sure.

But as it has been pointed out, its not a head that can be readily used for performance, but rather for good fuel economy or at the very least a trophy.

I spose if i had a few thou burnig a hole ni my pocket, i would buy this item just cause i could, but alas, like most datsun owners, i dont. Ill file this item in the "too expensive for me" box, and run with that.
