are sunny steering box a direct bolt in change for the 1200 box???

as i got told that were better to use, and mine is abit stuffed and i have a sunny box available.

no, diffrent steering column, would have to make sunny won fit, or modify 1200 one to bolt upto it somehow, not sure of legalities doing this either

[edit] ratio is only a tiny bit diffrent, talk to feral he was telling me a better way to get a quicker ratio and who can do it, was reasnobly cheap too

[edit no.2] i dont know if the column is the only diffrence, but its a diffrence im aware of

[edit no.3] the diffrence maybe to do with collapsible column or something, and therefore the later model utes may already have the sunny style box???, would have to compare the manuals thats where i discovered there was a diffrence but i dont have the sunny manual or ute ones

I looked at my 1971 service manual when I had my steering box out and I think it's the same box as what's in my '91.

At least externally.
