mik i think ive got most of the pin holes out...pretty much over caring now. gone over the roof about 4 times now, but have to go over the front valance again as ive only gone over it ones. and then have another look to see if theres any obvious spots that still need sanding....then hit it with 1000

D, the roof near on looks like a mirror from just wet rubbing with 400. but can still see sanding marks so i can see why you would go smoother

did ya use a microfiller nick? that should take out most of the pinholes, hi-fill won't fill them as good. or just mix up a real runny mix of bog and squeeze it into the pinholes using a torch shining across the surface to find em. i only know cos i was doing that last weekend!

its the high fill that caused the pin holes. as its finish was so rough its just all the low spots that were in it after sanding it back

i have now learnt, dont use high fill

thought i'd take some pics so thats theres something to look at in the thread. pulled all the masking off so theres now a little bit of colour on the car

well not much going on here in the last 2 weeks, done a little bit more sanding and got some more primer to go over the roof again

should hopefully have a daily soon, 80s v8 luxury goodness, so that the wagon wont really be a rush to finish...not that it really is now anyway
