I think we might have to download him some money first.
At least tell us if it was worth it.

I paid for it this morning & it was not cheap, but was it worth it? Time will tell, but it will be a mate for my factory B210 race tuning manual.

My reference library is my pride & although not large, it covers the things i have got.

I am always looking for stuff i don't have yet, & Australian Datsun 1000 sales brochures are high on my list of wants. 1200 stuff is relatively easy to get, but 1000 stuff is a bit thin on the ground, so if anyone has sales brochures available, then send me an e-mail & lets talk business. Factory workshop manuals are also wanted for 1000 & 1200 models.
As some now realise, i pay a fair price for the right items.
Chris

Just a little note, my E-Bay ID is KPA10 and I bid $105 for it and saw your post on 1200.com as I was going to bid $150 so I stopped bidding.

I made one bid only. Thats all i ever do. I bid the maximum amount that i am prepared to spend, & i do it at the end of the bidding period & I let the proxy bidding thing figure out the actual amount.

Anyone who visits this site would recognise my ebay ID

I placed my bid 14 seconds before the end of the allowable time, so i do not know which post you are refering to, as i wrote nothing untill it was all over.
I had thought that you already had one of these.
I will e-mail you shortly.
Chris

And why is that exactly?

He is obviously a collector and has added a rare and significant piece to his collection (at the price he was willing to pay).

The "online" version (if he decides to share -- which he certainly should feel compelled to do) has essentially no value (except for the information contained therein).

I may very well load this manual up into this site, but perhaps you could help me out here.

Why, exactly, should anyone who just paid big bucks for a book, feel "COMPELLED," to provide the information contained therein, to you, for free.
Is there any reason why you have zero'd in on me, when you make no mention of Stirlingmac, who advises in this thread that he also has one?
I look foward to your helpfull reply.
Chris

I personally just want the information. Not the hansom carrying case (the book). I'm pretty sure the price would not have gone so high if this book was available "on-line".

knowledge is power
power is worth money ???? or somthin like that..

Why do uni graduates get paid heaps??? Because they have (apparently) knowledge.

It could be argued that paying $80 for a copy is a worth while investment, I mean, if one costly mistake is avoided....
