bit of progress on the coupe , engine now tacked in place , wasted $200 on a s13 sr20 engine mount , ended up using ford econovan ones and reversing the existing mounts. if anyone has a front end with brakes they want to sell me i would appreciate it :) im stumped on what do go with.
yes it looks rough sorry and unlike my utes cleanliness , but engine bay will be cleaned up , braced up , rust cut out and painted, exterior is to remain standard as possible as im on my ps and dont want any attention from mr highway patrol. :)
ps the funny short tailshaft is because the motor came out of a 4 wheel drive and went to a transfer case (dont ask why it was in a 4 wheel drive , i purchased the car and removed it as the wiring was already done for it :)

Would strongly suggest starting fresh with crossmember by making new mounts from minimum 4mm plate. Also you can upgrade the original front end by machining your hubs down and fitting s13 discs and calipers you can get the caliper brackets from kev rowley just google his name and you will find his number in car forums. Also datsport in adelaide sell a nice fitting for top radiator hose inlet/connector and maddat do an accelerator cable and sway bar. Could ramble on but thats a start plus im in limbo with my SR conversion.

It is looking good, just as DatsAndy mentioned, the engine mounts I would not trust. The amount of extra power would sure as hell tear them out of the crossmember
