The trx was white with a gold pearl it was in the backyard blitz section of zoom in issue 45 that was practically stock then with a t28 roller since then it has had heaps done but i am aiming for more power again with a gt 35 roller. Before the gt35 it made 315rwhp with a trust td06 high flow...Theres a pic of the engine bay with the tdo6 in zoom number 66 on the 9th page.

Tom S. Yeah quite a few American muscle cars would be in trouble if only half the Japanese cars made it to the US. You can get a CA18DET or SR20DET for your Datsun in the US, you can get them from engine importers or even Ebay! Of course they are about 3 times what you can get them for here in Japan. While I'm here in Japan, I'm getting what I can and doing what I can with the Datsun. When it's finished it will be just in time for my move back to the US, and when I bring it back I plan on doing a lot of spanking on Vettes, Trans-Ams, Camaros, Mustangs, and anything else in my way. Just can't wait!!!!

Let's see:

- SR20VET - 278 hp
- Z06 - 406 hp

If you proceed to spend another $5000-$10000 building up each, won't the Z06 engine will still put out more hp than the SR20?
