Got these out of the car at the moment.

CNC machined flywheel and crank I lightened about six years ago.

I think from memory it's just under 3kg's

Whole flywheel/clutch set up is just under 7kg's total.

What exactly are the benifits of a knife edge crank? It seems to me that it now weighs less? What are the down sides?

I,m also interrested to know how this engine performed after these mods......One benifit also is that you have removed approx 10kg or more from the front end of your car improving handling, did you weigh befor and after?
