What size valves have you got there?? Was the head flow-tested before portjob?? Bye the way, Nice car and engine setup!!

Ports: - 39 x 31 mm biased Inlet, 31 x 28.5mm exhaust, Ports by Hiflow matched to GX gasket. flow benched.

Valves: IN: 35mm, EX 29mm Nissan

narh flow test after the job, the port job was only mild but done by a guru datto master Errol knows.

Where are every a-series gurus herearound , have you all switched to CA18DET or haven

flow tests arnt common as far as i know, and neither is spending big money on porting

It's only common among racers (of certain types of racing) as far as I know. I don't know anyone here who's ever had heads flow-tested.

These are some flow figures i acquired from Mick Atholwood a couple of years ago.The head was an oval port A15.

Exh valve 33 mm
Chamber 26.5 cc
Figures are at 10" and CFM

He reckoned the Inlet at .450 was good for143 HP and at 500 was 144 HP.
