What is this club all about? Helping another or braging about youself, Some oks go out of there way to help finding sites fore another members or giving advise AKA PIGDOG clyons8 benny THANX guys, apreasiate it,
and others? well.......??

Is this the same as the other clubs that help, or just self indulgent?

Is it worth to stay a member? The info posted is grate!!! but is the members equal to the task?

I don't get what your problem is?? I have had nothing but fantastic support from people on this site.

Is it because you didn't get any answers from your diff thread?
You posted it in the middle of the afternoon (only this afternoon) when most folks (at least in Aus anyway) are at work and probably don't get online til back at home about now etc..

A little bit of patience wouldn't go astray.. Or spend the time checking the Techwiki??

I too dont have any complaints either really.. the site has been very very useful to me in the past, and all the guys i have dealt with are very reliable and trustworthy.

As with every forum tho you have to take the good with the bad, there are always ppl who enjoy stiring the pot over the keyboard but you just learn to deal with it.. i wish some of my mates had that attitude!

But yeah as sss said you have to be patient if you are awaiting a reply to a thread (if thats what you are refering to?)

I do a lot of browsing on this sit and others to find ansers before i ask a question "not pc larerate" anyhow I ask the questions BECOSE i get a lot of saport, was just wondering becouse when brosing throu the threads i notesed members posted there pics, specs exs but not realy ingaging in the forums.
I brows on my phone the site just to see whats hapaning (phone very difficalt)

I was just wondering how many members? and how many bringing seport to other members? not the regulars, thy are grate

I'm thinking, every member hase some experianse, big or small, if All members bring it to the table, we would have a bigger club than, Facebook or twitter, just by member seport.

My aim is to get members thinking of posative whys thy can help, and make a good site, GREAT, not only for personal info.

Ps; I don't have a pc at home, only at my office (have work to do aswel) and only so mutch time in a day.

Cheers
Johan

Whoa not to offend but some of that spelling was hard to fathom. Back on topic.

I got my most of knowledge of Datsuns through Ian Oglvie and here. When I see posts about something that's in the forum already I get the mentality that I don't need to say what has already been said. That said people showed me where the info was when I was new so I should really be returning the favor, even if it's one of those dumb questions like what I wanted to do to my coupe originally.

i dont understand either...
guys on here post pics and stuff like in project build threads which are very helpful and informative i dont think they are doing it to cause offence and when people need help there is usually someone on here who has faced similar problems that can offer advice.

in reality i dont think the datsun community can get much bigger with the price of dattos these days compared to say S13 silvias and R32 skylines people are getting more bang for buck and newer technology, less stuffing around with fixing rust and finding rare parts such as a decent 5 speed gearbox (example i can get a running CA18DET, plus lume, ecu and 5 speed for under $750 yet i cant find a A series 5 speed for less then $1200).

im sorry mate im just not really sure what your beef is?

i get what your saying and i agree to a point.

who cares how successful an internet club is by popularity- its successful to those that count (which is anyone who uses the forum).

Personally,i think it runs fine with each of us contributing in where we can already, we dnt get too many opinionated flame wars like most newer car sites. I think its only the spammers and school holiday idiots we dont like.

On a side note, yes there members that are more knowledgeable than others technically, and they assist the rest of us, just like the work place- specialists to assist the other workers to get the team going. Its already working.

Just enjoy whats here and relax.
