i have been thinking looong and hard about what i want to do with regards to the motor. I would like to put in a NA SR20VE with ITB's or a SR20DE with webers. I was also thinking of building a really tricked out NA CA18 head and running 4AGE 20V ITB's with 12:1 compression pistons. I actually found a spare head and the ITBS's to build the CA head and was on the verge of buying everything then we got news that a drag strip was opening soon.
this may sound trivial, but we have not had a drag strip in years. But I also would like to solodex/autocross and drive this car on the street, so putting in a big turbo may not be the way to go...
right now, i need to focus on sorting allot of little things, and stop dreaming big :D
- Change the seals for the Pathfinder diff thats in there
- hook up my handbrakes
- get/install a tachometer
- I fitted a what the guy said was a 910 bluebird sway bar, but it fit like it was made for the B110, so I am thinking it's a 210 sway bar, whatever it is, it cleared my CA sump and with the right links, bushings and mounts, will work :P
- Install New Clutch/Flywheel/Pressure Plate/Release Bearing etc..
- Install 10gal Fuel Cell
I had a pretty tough CA18 already, i really like NA cars, especially ITB's etc.. my lil bro's B14 with SR20, Stage 4 cams/gears/head work and Mines ECU works amazingly well! and sounds TOUGH! always wanted it in my datto :P
