This is my first update for a while I've been very busy at work.
The car is running fine now just needs to get back on the dyno to be tuned properly, fitted a 60 series dogleg 5spd (a few mods needed for that) and also rebuilt my airbox for better clearance to the strut tower and modded it for colder air intake.
Oh and working on a R31 disc brake setup.

good stuff, but why not ship them over here to melbourne where someone can use them?

Theres a brake setup on Gumtree for about $90.

If you plan to run your calipers rear facing (as mocked up in the pic) you will run in to dramas when you try to set up your hand brake mechanism. ( you'll have to "re invent the wheel" to get the cables to the hand brake lever and you have the added delima of getting the cable around the muffler).
I fitted mine forward facing as you can then run the cables back and loop around and utilise the existing hand brake bracket and cabling on the diff.
I'll take some pic's of mine in the next couple of days so you can see what I mean.

Ah poo, that mean I'll probly have to change my setup.

I need to get a handbrake cable setup so I can check it out first.
Otherwise rotate the mounting bracket 180 degrees like this:

EDIT: Oh and swap sides with the calipers (not shown in the photo!)
