how strict is collie ,are ya allowed to hang the wheels out the gaurds abit ?? whats the go with inspetions on the car ?? do they do them

yeeeeoooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ,i got to drive the coupe today with the ca in !! i couldnt be happyer ! unless it had brakes hahaha


todya nigel and brett came around for a busy bee ,they got the tunnel done ,while i put the old t25 turbo on it :D

then the hole in the fire wall under the dash got plated (great job nigel !) and the inside sill panel got plated aswell as the out sill that is recessed in for the gaurd to sit flush with the sill

also i sorted out the steering and gave it a rough enough wheel alignment ,and decided it was time to take it for a spin ! after realising i scrapped the old seat rails i had in there ,i put the race seat in and cranked it up ! checked for oil leaks from the turbo and then dropped the front back down ready to drive it

i cant believe i have got it to this stage ,from being a almost stock car to having it drivable with none of the original drive line ,and an EFI engine

i think im doing ok for a youngin (17)

thanks to nigel and brett for coming down today ,i realy appreciate the help you 2 have given ,i can do most stuff just not realy panel work haha ill leave it to the pros :D

and from todays experience i think its going to be a hand full hahah trys to spin out realy easily!

if only the brakes and coilovers were in and it was penal biten and painted ! then i could go to collie !

ok ,i am so motiveated to finish it now ,i ground back all the welds on the sill patch brett did and i started getting the rear quarter respectable ,im not going to spent huge amounts of time making the quarters smooth ,they will get fuked up anyways hahah bang ,bog everywhere !

oh and thanks for the pan el hammer and dolly nige ,they work awsome ,i fixed a few kinks and dents in the engine bay and on the gaurds ive got too ,im going to delip and roll the passenger side gaurd tonight aswell

nah brett has them and he will be on later ,but im free next sun day if you wanna come round ,dont worry i slept in all day last saturday haha was worth wasting a day !

im going to try and mount my seat abit better than last time ,and it needs to be lifted up about an inch ,just so i can see the front of the bonnet or at least the gaurds haha ,almost got bogged today when i was turning it around ,and kinda went into the sand with a 12 and 13 inch wheel on it haha

no worries i will be keen for next sunday...

was wondering to mate, is there anything you need sandblasted??? as i'm taking a few things to work on thursday to get done. so if theres some things you need done let me know and i'll come round and pick them up...

did brett bring down them rims??? cause i will get them sand blasted as well
