In aus they call it the "1500" as I understand ... it is Datsun model series 620. In USA called "Datun Pickup" or "Lil Hustler"

yes they did come out in australia, but i have only ever seen the one grille but i guess you can get different ones. the cab i think is smaller then the 1200 but the tray is much bigger and come standard here in the j15 only. But the L series is an easy fit as you only need to change the engine mounts a bit and i plonks in nicely
