heres blank ones locally, and sleeve kits for coilovers. They also do trade pricing and from time to time have mad wheels. i picked up a set of watanabes for my coupe for $300. http://www.otomoto.com.au/HDSystems/sleevekits.htm

The problem is this...
The standard springs diameter restrict how much camber/castor you can get by moving the top of the strut around.
If you just buy the adjustable tops, you'll find you can maybe get 1 degree more camber before the spring hits the inside of the strut tower.
This is why when most people get adjustable strut tops, they also go for smaller diameter springs, which one you've done that, you may as well pay the extra coupla hundred for adjustable height.
It's a slippery slope, that will inevitably end up costing over $1000.
$250 for new springs $250 for adjustable tops $200-300 for adjustable spring height $200-$700+ for new shocks + labour.
Yeah some people might be able to get special deals on the parts, and do the labour themselves. But it's still not going to be simple or cheap.
My prices are 5 years old, and from the top of my head. But a cost of over $1000 is a reasonable estimate.

Good one 'datoboy1982'. Those kits are reasonable value.

I agree with Dattoboy that the Ottomoto kits are probably the best value. For $299 you get the sleeve kit that you can convert your struts to coilovers with and then another $299 for the adjustable camber tops. They do them for all different sizes of strut tube. Most notably for the Stanza conversion they come in the 51mm outer diameter. Obviously you still need to factor in a new set of inserts that are short enough to keep the springs captive when the car is jacked up and the labour if your. When you factor in everything it is a bloody expensive exercise but well worth it. Then there's the brake upgrades........

I'm liking that coilover conversion kit.. has anybody used it?
I have stanza struts, and a late model ute so Im assuming they will be bolt in except for using the shorter 240z strut insert with the appropriate shortening.
these coil overs would allow me to fiddle the height for what seems like a reasonable price.
so you just stitch weld the threaded sleeve over the strut and done??
Cheers
Ed

Yes Ed that is all. I also hide the 'shortening of the strut' underneath the threaded bit. 1. Cut tube in section where threaded bit will go. 2. using a new 240z/260z insert, shorten the tube to suit. 3. leaving old inserts in the strut (covered in a smear of oil) stitch weld the tube back and grind back to the diameter. don't let it get too hot or you'll have an oil fire. 4. position the adjustable bit in a way that the leaves enough clearance for tyres. warning: mounting the thread too low on the strut is bad.

thanks for the info Dattodude, hiding the join under the threaded section is a good idea too, gives a double redundancy measure for the join.
any recommendations on the free length of the spring or rates?
Cheers
Ed
