had it two weeks, race spec a12 with wild cam that doesnt kick in till 3000rpm, a14 or a15 head, extractors, 2 inch exhaust, DISC BRAKE front end, lowered, 13inch mags, home done paint job
(not too bad), hard lock tray cover, 1200 coupe dash (not working speedo) and the worst seats and gear change ever. Thanks for the word on 180b seats justin. do the frames just bolt
straight in or do i have to take the frames off the old ones and put them on the new?
one last qestion, does any one know of the autotechnica steering whell boss kit for the 1200 ute. i have a older steering whell thats smaller than the bus wheel on it at the moment.

thanks mik melbourne

yeah i'm pretty sure they go straight in. if not the 1200 rails will bolt straight onto the 180B seats.

yeah i've got an autotechnica on mine. you can get them but you have to make sure you get the right size for
the spline you've got.

Be careful with the Autotechnica. I dont think you can get much else, like I got a Momo wheel but only got a pov autotechnica boss. My first boss just slipped and no matter how hard I
got it bolted down it still had play in the splines. I said to the bloke this is not the right one and he was like "no its the only one!" So I told him I wanted a new one and to make
sure he ordered it properly! The new one finally arrived and it fitted like a dream, so much so I could hardly get it off. Watch the splines! And dont even think of filling a gap in the
splines with tape or anything. Boss should cost around $80.

I'm looking for a vgood to mint condition steering wheel from an
original 1200.
Even better if it's a factory sports option wheel.
Anyone in the Sydney Area have one?

Yeah i went through 2 boss kits before i found the right one. the one i got the first time, the guy said it was the right one so i took it home and put it on, it fit alright but
after a while of everyday driving it slipped on the slpines as yours did. so i got a set of verniers and measured the exact size and got the right one

Have a look at it. I'd really like it to be in 'non-chalky' non-sun
damaged condition.

I've got a good pad or two, the hard part is finding one thats not
gone brittle.

Chris.
