standard 1200 disk/drum master cylinder works fine on the 2x s13 swaps i've done, with the rear disks as well maybe 120y/180b

its personal preference, i run a standard bore master cyl on mine. i like a bit of pedal travel with an unboosted setup.

Benny once told me the larger bore gives more travel ( hope i got that right)
is this the only difference?

larger bore will give less travel.

my advice would be to carry out the brake upgrade and see how you like it.
if you find your pedal travels too far for your liking then upgrade the master cyl
to a larger bore to limit the pedal travel.

Spot on.... With different bore size master cylinders not only will the pedal travel change, but also the effort required. I run a S13 [250mm rotor size] front brake setup on my sedan with a 7/8ths MC. It works fine but the effort required is too hard for my liking. The std MC [11/16ths or 13/16ths, cant remember] was too soft for my liking, so a 3/4 MC from a p510 may be just the ticket.
