I haven;t actually tried extractors, but I've heard that they don't fit well as you can only get them to suit 1200. Unless someone can give me a part number for some that will fit.

If you remove the grease nipple off the idler arm they fit just fine on cars I've put them on
Sometimes you need to massage the engine mounts too
Depends on what blocks in it

Want some pics ?

I fit some 120Y extractors into my thou, with a little massaging. It was the collector (4-1) that gave me grief. With oxy in hand, i just moved the collector a little.
All good.

Ive also got a set of extractors that fit a thou nicly, but are stuffed and need to get a set rebent from them as a template, altough not as sexy looking as those of your chris.

Ive got no name ones here but they dont fit at all in the
engine bay with an A10. As for the genie headers Neil is
right on the cherry and the crippling is in the nipple,
so removing the nipple helps or heating with massaging
will help keep the nipple in its place all warm.
1. shows overall 4-1 design (marked hitting point below)
2. 2nd/3rd ex. outlet, going down instead of straight out.
3. Close up where they hit (5-10mm should clear nipple)

It's ok to dent them to make them fit, they will hit on steering lock,
and the heat that close to the idler does the bushes no good...

I think I'll hold bac until I pick up the A12 and after the thou is on the road. I'll do my hunting and collecting then.

The taller the motor the better the clearance.
