The old 1024x1024 pixels max and <100kb limit still applies. I just uploaded 2 pictures with no problems.

When you are saving jpeg files, the "quality" determines the size. Save them at 60% quality, they still look ok.
Microsoft Photo Editor is "good enough" to do the job.

I hope this helps.

You're a technical bloke, you'll figure it out.

Chris

Bob it's good to see that you are still around.

Ah, the 1963 "1200". That's a Bluebird 310/320, a nice car, but much bigger than our own Datsun 1200 "Sunny" B110/B120.

The twincab must be the ultimate 310 ... can't wait to see the pics.

Bob, if you have Windows XP, the Microsoft Paint "Save As" lets you adjust the quality when you're saving a JPEG file. I usually save at 76%, which is excellent quality but have on occasion -- to make a large picture have small enough file size -- dropped it down to 60-65% which is noticebly bad.

"Resizing" the picture to 480x320 will make a nice picture that fits most everyone's monitor, but 640x480 will show more detail. Anything bigger generally you risk it being too big a file size to upload to this site.

I use Microsoft Photo Editor (ver 3), but its resize function make a noticeably bad picture. So I use a freeware program called STGThumb to resize, which again has adjustable JPEG quality setting.
