They have heaps of room in the front for a straight 6 but
the height of most pistons motor is an issue.

like yatala headworx we wont know the nitty gritty
even though we would never build one to compete
with them or have the time or money in most cases

RX7 weighs a lot more than a 1200.

How do we know that is really an A15? Probably has 79mm pistons, making it a 1.6 liter. 2 bar boost and racing gasoline (no need for alcohol fuel) would put out some serious HP.

Rx7 complete is way heavier but thats once you add struts and suspension, panels, diff, rotary engine (heavy stock), liftback and the doors are massively heavy on these cars.
Gtr 32 doors are as heavy and CF ones are 8kg (42+kg saving).
With A series and CF/alloy rest would be close to 210 :)

If that guy is using 79mm pistons and big boost he must
be getting some blowby I gather unless its sleeved
and grouted also for extra capacity and strength?
Its a shame to have such rare be so elusive when few
if anyone would bother to replicate it.

Hmmm yes they say the bore distorts at high boost and 79mm. Has anyone ever made a billet block for A-series. Lots of machining time, but would be simpler than other billet blocks.
