There was also an estate version called the Box (WK11), which was unveiled on November 1999, with a double folding rear seat, along with an automatic transmission four-wheel drive model.

In the late 1990s, a K11 was adapted into a VQ30 mid-engined 4WD configuration to race in the Trophée Andros, the French ice racing series. Drivers who raced this car include Érik Comas, Philippe Gache, Stéphane Peterhansel and Emmanuel Collard.

Rwd Cherry I would love to do mount up a bike engine or love to build some thing like this.

http://www.zcars.org.uk/univkit.php

a VQ30 mid-engined 4WD now that sounds scary especially in a car (cherry) that orignally only weighs around 680kg.

Ive looked at 900cc motors that could use a supercharger.
They are easier to get and cheaper.

I considered doing a similar thing with the 120Y van. It is doable. But remember. Anything can be done with a massive splurge of cash. But be wary. Be mindful of the intentions for the car. If it's purely for the hell of it, WhyTF not. But if it's for racing it could just be a financial pitfall.

When I put the measuring tape across the van which is basically the same as the 1200 I found that it's the strut towers that get in your way. So if you replaced the whole front like a drag car with a space frame style tube chassis and widened the track by repositioning the strut tops out further and using all the FWD components from an import front cut from a GTIR SR20DET AWD then it's achievable. Personally I like to allign the badges. But either way uou could use a manual gearbox set up from the x trail.

Troy not many skills here just lots of bad thoughts.

Theres also a Mini Van body grafted onto
a suzuki swift 4wd (cultus AWD) base and turboed
it was done in the UK and quite well finished.

There are plenty of awd small nissans besides the gtir
but finding about them is no easy as they where JP only.
