hmm, normally most slushies keep most of the oil in the pan so I think you'll be OK.

Of course all advice is unproven until you pull it out and get covered in fluid upon which I will say told you so

yeah... well its going to hit some high angles on its way out of the car, so i guess it will come out then anyway... i have another yoke, but have to cut it off a shaft so prefer not

oh well......

the old a12 from the rally car is going in for nowm the current is using 3ltrs oil a week

I had a 1600 like that .... pull into a service station "fill the oil and check the petrol"

Yes i am old enough to remember when you got driveway service at petrol stations

was back in NZ a month or so ago, they still have service attendants at servo's, wondered what was going on when the young'un asked if I needed the oil and water checked .
Good old fashioned service and a part time job for a kid, win all round.

So he toped your washer bottle up with 20w 50?

It's good cause teaches them some car maintenance too- a skill lacking a lot now a days

yeah, I have actually had to drain a few diesels when the pump kid filled it with petrol (and vice versa). Can be a real prick of a job with the newer cars..
