If those pants had eyes. They'd probably attempt suicide.

You seem to love those sissor jacks. I prefer a trolley jack and stands personally. Was the car already engineered for the CA?

Don Its Been engineered in QLD. My stands are under the Ute its only one side sitting on the scissor jacks one at the jack point in front of the leaf mount the other between the U bolts on diff sits nicely around the centre bolt that protrudes the shock mount. We also have a trolley jack but I aint leavin it on that just dont believe in leaving them under load. The pants got used to prep-sol the roof down but i sent nick a nice purple pair with an SU air cleaner box inside them.

Got the axle off the previous mechanic and took it to another guy i know he nearly sat me on me butt when he said come back in an hour after it sat at the last blokes place for near 2 weeks. The great thing was he is into stanzas and blueys and we did some trading for alternators starters and 3 TRX rims for his services plus he gave me some credit for next time. So all back in. Now it has a handbrake and no crazy locked diff. Sadly the callipers had seized bleeder nipples so got the other set i had and cleaned them up just hope they are good as the pistons are very stiff. All back in just gotta mount and connect the hard lines and try bleeding them up. Also phone pics of the new height sits bit higher than expected but i have some 3/4 inch plate steel i can make some blocks with and should sit where i want it.

pffft few bubbles will be brazed up when it goes out the beaters to get roof holes brazed up. Or I could just rip out a good wagon rear door from me stash and paint it white.

Extended the wiring to the fuel tank today so it can neatly run through the gap between boot floor and rail with the other wiring. All soldered heat shrunk and re taped. Then made a brace for the battery clamp rods which i tacked to the floor and then to the rods, Nice and sturdy now. Also tried out another set of wheels on the rear they are 14's with 205/60's on them and have mega clearance all around on the inner guard and about an inch and a half off the leaf spring. Going to go 195/50's on them should look good.
