Time for some more updates - I had to pull the engine.....TWICE!!! since the original install, first time was stupidity (didn't flatten the oil pan flange prior to reinstall & guess what-oil leak, dumb huh), 2nd time wasn't my fault - didn't matter I still had to fix it (rings in #2 didn't seat, low comp).

Back in & running better now, some progress pic's

entered in the Edmonds car show in Sept.

you can see the oil pressure gauge under the left side of dash - I installed a T at the pump & ran the gauge off one side & the sending unit off the other - works great. If anyone ever does this make sure you use British Pipe Thread fittings not SPT.

not sure if you can see this but I tapped a pcv system into the Cannon manifold, its still ran from the crankcase breather to the catch can then back to the mani..

no more catch can, just a pcv system now w/a valve cover breather, seems much better - no oily venting into the engine compartment. I dont have a pic but I just plumbed the PCV directly from the crankcase breather pipe to the manifold.

Did get the console installed with the clock, we'll see how good a time it keeps.

heres my oil pressure gauge, I put a LED light into it & man is it bright! Adjacent to it is the switch for the rear window defroster I installed as well.

heres my mirrow w/compass, temp & lights - oh yeah, auto dimming - work damn good too! Being a low car somebody's brights would be a bit*h otherwise

Yes. Let's get together soon. Got my header in the mail so that's my next project.
Have a couple more gauges to install on the top of my dash. Lean/Rich Ratio and Fuel Pressure gauge.
Fun stuff!

Looks great! Get a pic of Pcv set up too if possible. Nice little touches like digital stereo and mirror don't detract from car much at all too.

I see you were served your balls on the back seat. You missing one

sexy as!

is that orange material on the top section of the door trims?

it gives the appearance more like like sedan trims that dont go all the way up the door,

I thought 3 balls in a set was normal, something wrong with that

Your right, the orange is on top of the doors, I painted it that way & re-made the door panels w/o the metal cap/top piece of the original door panels. I guess thats the style of the sedans & the utes I think. I just thought it'd be nice to have a touch of color in the car as well.
