does anyone know if there are any differences in the idle metering circuits between a12/a14/a15 carbs.
And are there any other differences besides the jets?

I really don't want to harp on a subject that gives most of us a pain in the A, but the best fix for a Hitachi carb is to burn it in ULP and use a Weber 32/36.

Your car will be much nicer to drive.

The differences for some models (A12, A13 and A14) are listed here at the end of the article.

The A14 uses the same carb as the A12 (Hitachi DCH-306).
