1200 coupe with vinyl roof

Hi all.

Found a 1200 coupe late last year with a vinyl roof. Covers all the boot too.
I've never seen one at all. Thought it was pretty special.
Anyway, so I bought it lol.
It is original, but unfortunatly its not going to stay on for long.

I think you're right there! It still has the Capitol Motors number
plate surround.

i had one off theses years ago the story i got was they put vinyl roof on the cars that had hail damage from the docks
dont know how true it is

datcoupe will find out when he pulls the top off it there is hail damage underneath.

Comes with special hail damage as standard??? Yea it's a Datsun but surely they are not that bad... I seen one the other day it was white looked mad I'd leave the vinyl on..

Actually it was available in the U.S. as a dealer installed option.
I remember the guys in the shop complaining about how difficult they
were to install and make them look good.
