I've resprayed my 1200 sedan and now I've got to put it back together. All the screws for trim and stuff are rusted. What is my best option? Original ones? Find replacements at a hardware store or something?
Also with rubbers I'm getting a kit for the doors and windscreen but it doesn't include smaller items like tail light seals Should I just get stuff bit by bit off eBay or something? Any good general advice on putting a car back together?

Just take your time when putting it back together... With the rusty screws etc maybe get them re plated. I am looking at getting a kit from Caswell platers. Which is a
DIY kit for electro plateing. I am going with a zinc coating

I got one of those kits last year it's pretty nifty the only hassle is doing the calculations, I plated a couple of items when I first got it and they are still good,

Sorry to sway from the actual topic

Yeah I like the idea of new ones better. Any advice on where to get them? Are there places that have 'automotive' screw or just try to find similar items at sprints or a hardware store?
