Ah, the rebadged Daewoos... What a masterstroke THAT was!!

Daewoos were the perfect examples of disposable cars too - Okay whilst brand new (and under warranty), but after 3 years, throw it over your shoulder and get a new one.
Dave, I like your thinking! CM Regal Wagon, with lounge chairs for front seats and enough room to put a mattress in the back without folding the back seat down, and a Fireball on gas under the hoodie. Those things will keep going strong and pull stumps, long after the body has rusted away to a bare chassis!

But back to the task at hand...
R_T, You're just out of Toodyay, yeah? Is your Old Man out that way as well? Presuming he is, the closest Great Wall dealership to you would be Midland I know Toodyay's only about an hour from Midland, but should any warranty issues arise, it's still a bit of a hike. What about an '05-'06 GU IV Patrol Wagon 4.2L TDi? The MY05 was the last of the old 4.2L, which we all know will have no towing issues whatsoever and are comfy as well as robust. The pov pack DX can be found for around the mid 20's too (ST's about the 30K mark).
