Well there has been some slow progress.
Doors, boot, bonnet and guards are finally painted.
Need to colour sand the gaurds.
Doors are rebuilt and semi attached, need door seal and some other rubber parts, drivers top hinge has too much free play so will replace.
Bonnet now has pins, front guards have been cutout and lipped (these got a little pumped when rolling the lip but it actually helps so am happy).
Pedal box is finsihed and ready for install (wilwood pedal assembly)
I haven't mounted the front velance yet, still waiting to figure out how im going to mount the intercooler/radiator. Might need to put the engine back to fit it all behind the Rad support panel.

slow but steady progress over the weekend.
Managed to finish mounting the flares, still need to be painted.
Had to modify the wiper motor to clear the controversial front roll cage mounts, it wasn't too hard, I had three to work with.
It now points down a little further to go under the roll bar.
Below are a couple of photos of the progress, finish and mounted the driver fender today as well (Not picture).

quick update,
Last weekend i re-mounted the engine and gearbox, had to modify the water pipe that feeds the turbo and heater box, as im not running a heater box inside the cabin, i wanted to re-route these lines.
without having the radiator support panel cut, it was harder to put the engine/gearbox back in but I think I have a method that should work (although I didn't have the flywheel on this time which made life a little easier).
With that in, i was hoping that I could move the engine back towards the firewall and have enough clearnace for both radiator and intercooler but after much angst ive decieded to go with the intercooler mounted under the bumper bar.
I think I might have made the clearance but the work required was more then I really wanted to do, a lot of rework, move engine mounts, re-cut shifter hole, shorten tailshaft and possible move seat back too.

Anyway todays effort was to get the intercooler fitted and mount the front spoiler. Happy to report that this is finished, still haven't cut the holes (70mm required) in the inner wheel arches or front valance but really this is the easy part.

tomorrow will be mounting the radiator and oil cooler.

Not everyones taste and too be honest I would have like to avoided it but the alternative was a lot more hassle.
it meets the rule requirements and the car can still be lowered another 30mm before the spoiler is at 100mm limit.

unfortunatly no I won't be able to make it this weekend.
I hope the weather gets better for the race.
On the up side more home time = more work on the car.
