Hey guys! Havent been on the forums for a while.

Been thinking about doing the mentioned conversion. I have the gearbox but what else is needed exactly? I had a look through the wiki but I wanted more specific details if possible.

I know the tailshaft needs shortening but does anyone know by how much? I have a document from Dellow(supplying kit for conversion) that states what I need but I think its wrong - For eg. in the wiki it says the speedo cable should fit up but in the Dellow kit they supply a new cable for $95, an expense i may not need.

I uploaded the document if someone could have a look and let me know which parts are actually needed. Sorry I made it a bit confusing. Any help would be great.

Cheers

They all are hydraulic
But the bellhousing and associated parts make it cable
Since you use the Dastun fork

I bought all that except
Speedo cable (racecar so didn't need it)
Crossmember and mount (racecar so made it fit)
Unijoint + yoke (had an old Celica tailshaft)
clutch plate (used different clutch on custom flywheel)

I think I still have a pilot bush I didn't use (ran a bearing with the custom flywheel) and a rubber mount I don't need if you want to buy them from me cheaper :)

You definatly need
Bellhousing and pivot
Gasket
Return spring retainer ring
Pilot bush

As for whether the crossmember fits your car you'd have to double check with them

Can show you pics of bits if you need

thats what i always thought too.i remember seeing a a15 with t50 somewhere with the cable setup, which made me think there must be factory cable one,but now it all makes sense.
Well this bit of info makes me want to 'actually' do it now, knowing u dont need to fit clutch master and seeing i have a spare t50 sitting here from my ae71.

Thanks for the help guys!

Would definitely be interested in the rubber mount and pilot bush (sent you a PM).

I have the crossmember from the T50 still attached to the gearbox, any idea if that would work?

Highly unliekly
But if you still have that.... then you already have the rubber mount

I'll check the shed see if I can find that bush
