Thanks. The way my supercharger is, im going to stay with the same design. All parts of the intake are going to be redone. I have new ideas for better flow. The two Webers are providing more than enough fuel and air.
I have some house work to complete today so maybe work in the garage tonight. Probably get the timing cover on and the oil pan.

Motor is complete now minus the intake manifold. After this racing season I can pull the motor and get the supercharger mounted and get the measurement for the intake. I bought most of the aluminum yesterday and have the design to do it.
Should turn out sweet!!

Leaving me time to work the bugs out. The motors been done for a couple of weeks. I'd have the Z motor out if it wasn't for all this house remodel crap (oh and the end of the season racing). One more race on Oct. 14th and them the Z24 comes out. Im hoping I can get this thing done quick. Tuning on that Z24 took me almost a year to perfect. I'd like to get it done in a few months this time.

The manifolding is going to be interesting to say the least!
Maybe will have to be a very compact manifold?

Yes it will be compact. I haven't cut into the stock manifold yet because I need the height of the current SC pipe so Ill have to wait. I can post a pic of what im think as my idea.

I figured out my solution to the tight fight exhaust manifold.
I ordered a bottom mount turbo header from FRSports.com

Turbo Header

I had such a tight fit with the Z24 and the steering box that I was not able to use a performance exhaust header. The stock exhaust barely cleared the steering box. The stock KA24DE exhaust manifold looks like it won't clear when I get it in so that forced me to look into something else.
The last performance header I bought stuck out to far from the head and dropped down right on the steering box. I ended up wasting time and money.
This turbo header will allow me to run a single pipe down from the header and clear the box. May run a 2.5 inch pipe down and reduce it to my existing 2 inch pipe. Should get excellent flow.
Haven't started the project yet. KA motors complete but I havent dove into pulling the Z24 out. Just trying to gather all the parts to make this project happen. And mostly because I wander in an out of my garage getting tools for house projects. It doesn't hurt to stop and stare at the car for a moment.

yes this one looks like it might not go near the steering box

D,
Na, I dont think so. I guess Im stuck on the Supercharger.
Hey, how do you change the title of the thread? I want it to state KA24 Mod and not Z24 Mod.

So I was going through my parts this morning and was looking at my clutch assembly. One of the motors I bought had an XTD clutch kit on it. Lightened flywheel with one of those 6 puck clutch disc. Im going to use the flywheel but whats the story on the disc? I would think that I would want more disc surface for my clutch. I havent had any problems with stock clutches in the past. Any thoughts?
